I can't believe it's November already. It seems like yesterday was just move-in day and my first day of college. Now it seems like I've been here forever. It also seems like I've been home forever when I was only there for three days. Now I probably won't go home for three more weeks, when my fall/Thanksgiving break starts. I'm very excited for Thanksgiving because I am seriously craving pumpkin pie.
As for Halloween, I didn't do much. I baked chocolate cupcakes and drew Halloweenie shapes on them: black cats, spiders, jack-o-lanterns, eyeballs, and ghosts (check out my Flickr photos in the sidebar). I took some to a friend's house which gave me an excuse to dress up. I wore the dress I wore in 7th or 8th grade (still fits!), made my hair look crazy and put some dark makeup on. I had some vampire teeth but they were cheap and I broke them within ten minutes of putting them in my mouth.
So, I was half a vampire, hehe.
As for the website, I'm cooking up some goodies. I'm putting the finishing touches on the website template I have up for download. I will update the HTML version and then release both under a new name. I plan on being lazy and basing my new layout on the theme (it will look way different, though). I like the pink and the rounded corners, but it's been up for a month and it's time for something new. I was thinking about purple this time. I'm also currently working on an update to Quotish, as a couple of people have come forward to me with bugs this week. Look for 1.1.1 sometime in the next week. I have to fix a little bug with Author pages and then it will be ready.
Oh, and I'm going to *attempt* NaBloPoMo, or National Blog Posting Month. That means posting every day, which is unlikely for me. I'll see how it goes, though.
Have a paper due tomorrow in my first class and I've got it about half done. This "fall back" thing is starting to get to me and I'm getting tired (can't you tell by how lame this blog post is?). Cross your fingers and hope I can get it done to turn in tomorrow.
